Who is going to be at The Melbourne Sessions?
Total pros. The artists and speakers who will be guiding the inaugural The Melbourne Sessions are some of the most proficient, skilled, connected and dynamic songwriters and composers in the biz.
LA-based Grammy-winning writer/producer Warryn Campbell, who has worked with Kanye West, Missy Elliott and Alicia Keys (yes, on those tracks), will go deep into songwriting and the business of it all in an In Conversation for all attendees.
Confirmed to lead a masterclasses are producer Anna Laverty, singer-songwriter Ben Abraham and renowned film and TV composer Cezary Skubiszewski.
Ben, co-writer of Kesha’s Grammy-nominated smash ‘Praying’, says, “I am stoked to have the chance to lead a masterclass for The Melbourne Sessions. I grew up around songwriting and am super passionate to share everything I know about the craft with anyone who will listen.”
Workshops will see smaller, specialised groups get hands-on experience with the likes of Adalita, Joelistics and more, with the day culminating in a curated performance and post-event networking.
